Cancun Museum Located next to the Convention
Center in the Hotel Zone, the museum operates under the auspices of the
Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia. Artifacts on
display include the stone and the stucco head from El Rey, clay
figurines from the island of Jaina in Campeche, stelae from
Cobá and San Gervasio on Cozumel, incense burners from
Dzibanche, carved jade, ceramics, jawerly and stone carvings. Opening
hours: Monday - Sunday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Accesible admission, free on
Sunday. Architecture

mexican architects. Architectural styles reflect an array of
influences: the ancient maya, futuristic glass pyramids, Spanish
Colonial, romanesque, neo-classic, the Caribbean and the 21 st century.
